W Radio Colombia

W Radio Colombia is a well-known news and talk radio network that is a subsidiary of Caracol Radio and is owned by the PRISA Group. Caracol Estéreo was founded in 1973 and relaunched as W Radio in 2003. The station is known for its morning show, La W, hosted by Julio Sánchez Cristo, Alberto Casas Santamaría, and Camila Zuluaga, which provides in-depth analysis of national and international news. In 2025, W Radio increased its digital presence by launching seven weekly short-form video formats on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and WhatsApp. These programs address a wide range of issues, such as culture, health, technology, and lifestyle, with the goal of engaging new audiences while retaining journalistic integrity.
